Our Adoption Process

If you see an animal listed for adoption, please feel free to contact us to find out more information or answer any questions that you may have. You can meet most of our animals at our adoption events or we can set you up with a time to meet them privately with their foster home.

If you have met an animal and still would like to take the next step towards adopting, you would fill out a pre-adoption questionnaire, located at the bottom of this page, to help us make sure that your household is a good fit for the animal. *Please note, if you wish to save yourself a step later on, you can fill out the pre-adopt before you meet the animal. Filling out this form is non-committal and it also does not guarantee the animal to be yours.

Assuming that your application is approved, you are then clear to adopt the animal, if you wish. The adoption fee for our dogs and puppies is usually $350, but occasionally we have a senior or long time adoptable animal that will be less than that. The adoption fee for our cats and kittens is $150. All of our dogs that are up for adoption are spayed/neutered, up to date on all of their shots, microchipped, heartworm tested (and treated if need be), dewormed, and current on their frontline and heartguard. Cats are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and feline leukemia tested.

The final step would be to go over the adoption contract, give you a copy of all of their medical work, and then they would be yours to love forever, unconditionally!

We do not hold animals for adoptions. Our animals can be adopted on a first come, first served basis to approved homes. Please make sure you are ready to add a new addition to your household when you apply. Please note that we have the right to refuse any adoption.
